Philip Aaburg; Composer, Keyboardist; Philip Aaberg writes music that puts the listener smack in the New American West with all its bittersweet complexity. He finds devoted listeners among rock, country, new age, blues, jazz, and classical music fans, and his range of performances includes everything from solo piano concertos with the Boston Pops Orchestra to appearances with luminaries like Peter Gabriel, Elvin Bishop, and John Hiatt. He tours and records in two duos: with slide guitar innovator Roy Rogers, and with master fiddler Darol Anger. Phil has been a guest on over two hundred albums, from multi-million selling pop and country to experimental jazz with bassoonist Paul Hanson. His album "Live From Montana"
was nominated for a 2002 Grammy. In addition, his performance on PBS's "All-American Jazz" was nominated for an Emmy.
The Back Adit Band; Back Adit is based out of Libby, Montana, but their members live throughout the Northwest in Montana, Idaho and Washington state. They love playing music and get together often to play. They are currently booking gigs throughout the Northwest and are looking to play at concerts and various festivals this summer. Jason Deshaw, Country, Plentywood,Montana; Jason DeShaw is an up-and-coming country singer, born and raised in Plentywood, Montana. In 2003, he graduated from Carroll College with a B.S. in B.S. and embarked on his musical career.
Derek Duncan, Classical singer, Missoula / Deerlodge Montana. Derek Duncan is multi talented. On the performance side, he had a minor in vocal performance (baritone) and had a leading role in a University of Montana performance of "The Marriage of Figaro". Off stage, Derek's experiances in marketing have included work as a marketing intern in the Washington DC National Opera scene.
Steve Eckels -- Guitarist, Kalispell, Montana - Steve Eckels plays solo guitar for special events. His repertoire includes classical, jazz, Latin, pop, and western music. He has degrees in guitar from Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory. He is the guitar teacher at Flathead High School in Kalispell, Montana.
Jeni Fleming Acoustic Trio- JAZZ; They may perform folksy acoustic renditions of Jerry Jeff Walker, they may rock out with a pop cover from Cyndi Lauper…but in the end, the jazz comes out in every tune. Doug Higgins --- (Montana Brass) Trumpet. Mr. Higgins has performed with the Satin Brass, Spokane Symphony, and as principle trumpet with the Spokane British Brass and Sammamish Symphony.His cd, Montana Dreams is a collection of "Tune Poems", a story told by musical instruments. They could also be called 'sound pictures' describing things, places persons and events.

Intermountain Opera Association; Opera, Bozeman, Montana: In 1978, Verity Bostick, a young singer and assistant professor of music at Montana State University at Bozeman started Montana's first opera company. Involvement also included a well-known New York opera producer, Anthony Stivanello, and Gallatin Valley's own resident opera star, Pablo Elvira. The Association has continued to grow and to attract opera goers, not only in Bozeman, but in other parts of Montana and in neighboring states as well. An increasing number of volunteers and supporters aid the Association each year. All committee workers and board members are volunteers.

Kickstar; Great Falls and North-Central Montana. Hard Rock cover band. The trio plays their original Hard Rock, and cover tunes ranging from early 70’s to modern day heavy rock. Lead singer Peaches says, ”Our mission is to rock you, shock you, and make you think twice.”
Laura Loge ---- Opera Singer, formally from Dillon. Now living in Massachusetts. In Montana she has sung with the Intermountain Opera in Bozeman as well as the Rimrock Opera inBillings. She was a recent winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council District Auditions in the Montana/Idaho/Eastern Washington discrict.
Miller Creek , Missoula Montana ------ Jam Band; Fans everywhere are tuning in to their improvisation-laden style, combining familiar rhythms with abstraction - all pleasantly fluidic like the band's natural namesake. The crunchy traditions of The Dead, Phish, Widespread Panic, and more meet their creative machine head on, and the results overflow with both a sense of heritage and a hearty dose of danceable freshness.
Montana Artists Refuge, in Basin Montana --- The Montana Artists Refuge, located in Basin, Montana, was organized to further the creative work of artists, to create residencies for artists, and to provide arts programs and arts education for both artists and community members.

Open Range, Livingston,Montana ----- New Western Swing. Ric Steinke & Linda Hausler perform a unique style of western folk music. They reside in the Livingston, Montana area, and travel throughout the western states performing for audiences large and small. Their repertoire consists of their original material, new and old songs of the West, and contemporary folk songs. They were also featured in the PBS children's series "Postcards From Buster", "Buster's Buffalo Roundup" !
Rimrock Opera Company, Opera, Billings----The goals and objectives of The Rimrock Opera are to strive to make available some form of opera to everyone in the community. Through formal performances and Opera-Tunities, free education and outreach activities each year, the opera offers individuals from all socioeconomic levels the opportunity to learn about and experience the joy of opera.
Mark Sollars, drummer, Missoula ------ His 30+ years of drumming experience started at the young age of 11. Mark has toured and worked in several recording studios including a recent project for a local television commercial. Since arriving in Missoula, MT., Mark has become an adjudicator for Missoula School District Solo Days, an instructor for a summer band camp, a private drum instructor and currently plays with Blue Rock Shop. Mark thoroughly enjoys working with the next generation of musicians.
